Blasting

Shot-blasted pipes

Shotblasting involves refining the material, i.e. smoothing and strengthening it. It is one of the many methods used to process steel components. In the production of steel structures, shotblasting allows us to consolidate the final product and protect it against corrosion.

A great advantage of this process is that it improves the aesthetics of the work piece, which is very desirable nowadays.

The shotblasting process consists in cleaning steel constructions with a highly abrasive material, preparing the workpiece for the application of a protective layer.

In our Company, the shotblasting process is carried out in a special shotblasting cabin, which also allows us to shotblast pipes inside with an average diameter of 50-300 mm.
